Our Membership
Membership in the Hancock & Sand Ponds Association is open to all owners with deeded rights to lakefront property on Hancock and Sand Ponds. Your membership dues support our work to protect the future of our beautiful lakes.

Invasive Species Prevention Fund
This is a stand-alone fund separate from annual membership dues. The Prevention Fund pays for our invasive species prevention and detection efforts, including courtesy boat inspections at the Wabunaki Public Boat Launch and LEA plant surveys. To donate, send a check to the above address with a note designating the Invasive Species Prevention Fund, or pay online via the link below.
Invasive Species Mitigation Fund
The Mitigation Fund is a stand-alone fund to be used ONLY for mitigation efforts in the event of an invasive species infestation on Hancock and/or Sand Pond. If an invasive species is identified, this fund will help fund a rapid response to address it, buying valuable time while other funding sources are identified. These funds will not be used for ongoing HSPA activities (including boat inspections) which are funded through our Prevention Fund.
